New boss to take over at water firm

WATER firm, RWE Thames Water is about to get a new chief executive. Current CEO Bill Alexander is retiring at the end of November and will be replaced by Jeremy Pelczer, the current CEO of American Water.

He will remain CEO of that company as well until his successor is appointed.

Jeremy Pelczer joined the UK-based company in 1996 and has held various positions within the company.

The company says Mr Pelczer has been a major contributor to RWE Thames Water's international growth.

Today, with more than 17,000 employees, RWE Thames Water is a leading specialist in water and wastewater services, offering 70 million customers services.
