Fundraising golf day boosts charity coffers

Carrie Cardale from the NSPCC and, right, Karen Davison, director of C&D Recruitment Ref: 99117-58A SWINDON business has been swinging out to raise money for the NSPCC. C&D Recruitment, of Regent Circus, holds an annual golf fundraiser in aid of the children's charity each year.

This year's event, in June, raised £4,162 for the charity.

Carrie Cardale, South West head of communication for the NSPCC, said: "It is great as we rely on voluntary donations and they form 85 per cent of our annual income. It is wonderful that they are continuing with their support of the charity. We never assume that someone will be willing to raise money for us and this is brilliant."

Karen Davison, director of C&D Recruitment, said: "I want to thank all the clients, staff and suppliers for their contributions to this fantastic amount of money."
