NEIL Kirkpatrick has added two experienced former players to his squad this week in a bid to solve an escalating unavailability crisis.
Paul Thorpe and Brent Murden have both signed Hellenic League forms for the Bees, although Thorpe is unavailable for tomorrow's clash at home to league leaders Headington Amateurs.
The versatile Murden will come straight into the squad, with Matt Penman, Nathan Flower, Matt Cooper unavailable and Dave Mitchell, Andy Bloodworth and Lee Wilson struggling with injuries.
Kirkpatrick said: "The selection has been a bit of a nightmare but I am sure we will be okay. I have called in a few favours and we will go into the game against Headington with a strong squad.
"Brent can play either up front or in defence while Paul Thorpe will be a useful addition when available.
"We know it will be a tough match with Headington leading the way so far but we will be up for it as well and it should be a good one."
Dave Percival slotted home a second half penalty on Tuesday night after Waleed Bakali had been fouled to earn Trowbridge a point at Wootton Bassett and maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
Kirkpatrick said: "In the first half we were woeful. I don't know what it was but Bassett dominated and won everything all over the pitch.
"I had a few words at half time and after the break they were exceptional and in the end fully deserved the point.
"We will have to play better than the first half tomorrow though or else we have no chance. I was disappointed with their effort and commitment."
