Soccer school's medal winners

LEIGHTON Recreation Centre recently played host to the Alan Ball Football Academy.

32 boys and girls, aged six-13 attended the three day camp, run from August 23-25. The aim of the camp was to develop young players to their highest potential.

Jimmy Ball from the ABFA "was delighted with the high standard of the players".

The camp culminated in a presentation of medals to all the players in front of their parents. The trophies went to the player of each day along with trophies for the winning team.
