Picture Ref: 99137-21ANDY King is not expecting any further additions to his squad while anxiously looking to keep the exit doors firmly locked as he prepares for the transfer window to slam shut tomorrow.
While always keen to add to his options, the County Ground boss accepts that the only last-gasp strengthening likely to take place before January 1, 2006 is the completion of a three-month loan deal for Fulham midfielder Neale McDermott.
As managers up and down the country decide whether they need to do some late 'shopping' before the transfer system shuts down for four months, King is not unhappy with what he has to call upon at this stage.
Now he is just hoping that deadline day passes relatively quietly in Wiltshire.
That means holding on to existing members of his squad and the manager is not in the mood to happily watch anyone disappear.
While he has a board of directors to answer to when it comes to finances, King hopes he will emerged 'unscathed' from any last minute flurry of interest and activity.
He said: "No-one's going as far as I'm concerned, not that you always have the choice.
"I've not had an inquiry for anyone at this stage though.
"If something comes in during the hectic period then we'll analyse it then."
As for players coming in, King said: "The directors have stretched things for me for which I'm grateful, but then I'm comfortable with what I've got."
The manager was far from depressed after yesterday's narrow 1-0 reverse at Tranmere Rovers.
Goalkeeper Tom Heaton, pictured, again caught the eye and King said: "He's set standards in the first two games and the challenge is to continue to reach those standards. I've a lot of confidence in him."
A failure to deliver in the final third was one of his few criticisms, that and a need for one delicate pass too many.
He said: "We tend to want to overplay on occasions."
