Airfield noise sparks meeting

WANBOROUGH Parish Council will hold a meeting next week to discuss Redlands Airfield.

Chairman Bill Suter said: "Some of the residents are objecting to the noise from the aircraft and sky diving and what have you and they wanted a meeting to raise their views."

Redlands Airfield is on the Wanborough Road that leads out of the village to Covingham.

The parish council meeting is due to be held at 7.30pm on Monday, September 5, at the village hall.

And Wanborough's annual allotments meeting will be on September 19, at 7.30pm in the village hall.
