RUGBY KICK-OFF: SIMON Postlethwaite will be the guiding hand as Marlborough try to bounce back from their horror 2004-05.

The former Keynsham player has had to retire from playing aged just 28 because of an ankle injury.

But he is a level two-qualified coach and takes the reins of the relegated club.

Marlborough were rock-bottom of Dorset & Wilts One last term, their misery compounded by actually finishing the campaign in arrears points-wise.

A number of forfeitures meant they finished with minus two points, but they will be hoping for better in a no-less competitive Two North this time.

Second row Mark Adams, one of the club's most consistent performers leads, the side, with flanker Jamie Tunmorehis deputy.

Former skipper Geraint Jones remains in a team manager capacity.
