ANDY King may have a 'walking miracle' back at his disposal but it is his mere mortals who are being challenged to prove themselves worthy of adulation.
The Town boss has spoken of the need to give supporters fresh cause for optimism after the Carling Cup exit.
With Yeovil expected to bring a healthy contingent today, King knows it is a good opportunity to restore the feel good factor.
Ahead of the clash, King gathered his troops together and said: "I've said to the lads we've got to win them (the fans) back by a good result and get those here to preach our praises out on the streets.
"They tell me it might be a decent crowd and that's even better as they've an opportunity to put things right in front of more people and prove they're worth coming to watch. I think they are."
Yeovil may be propping up League One but King isn't about to be fooled into thinking the Glovers are an easy touch.
He points to similarities in style with Wycombe Wanderers and says that should serve as a warning to his players.
King said: "They're a footballing side and I'm told a bit like Wycombe. They pass the ball and if you let them, like we did the other night, you can see the end result.
"If we compete against them though then I've got no fears.
"Gary Johnson has a tremendous track record and Yeovil have some good players."
Not that King is unhappy with the options he has at his own disposal.
He feels the arrival of Andy Gurney has provided further senior competition while he is more than happy to see Tom Heaton taking his place between the sticks.
The manager also received an unexpected bonus after training yesterday but it is likely to be Monday before he utilises the option.
Stefani Miglioranzi was completely out of the equation as Friday training came to an end but then came a happy twist.
The New Yorker, pictured, was on a list of definite absentees which also included Rhys Evans, Steve Jenkins, Andy Nicholas and Nicky Nicolau.
King said: "Stef has just declared himself 101 per cent fit."
As the player emerged from the Wanborough changing rooms, the manager joked: "The walking miracle's there."
Miracle man he may be but a return to fitness is unlikely to be enough to ensure an immediate return to the starting line-up today.
One man guaranteed a start is keeper Heaton.
Not only does King feel happy with the Manchester United youngster's individual contribution, he is delighted with the knock-on effects.
He said: "I've seen an improvement in the other two young keepers, a spark."
