VETS in the Swindon area want to help your dog get back on its feet. This September veterinary practices will be standing by to check to see if your pet has arthritis.
Eleven Swindon practices are joining TV star Charlie Dimmock in their support for the Hip Hip Hurray Canine Arthritis Awareness Month.
The TV gardening star said: "Last year Canine Arthritis Awareness month made a huge difference to the lives of thousands of dogs.
"I advise anyone who is worried about their dog's mobility to contact their vet one phone call could change a dog's life."
Many of the vets will be offering free or discounted checks, and starter packs of medication for those dogs suffering from osteoarthritis.
