Sexy float all in good taste

Ann Summers girls Becks Close, Dee Maslam, Leanne Middleton, Carla Boardman, Shelley Foster and Gemma Kington 17075/11THERE will not be a pair of naughty knickers or sex toy in sight when Ann Summers' party organisors strut their stuff on a float in the Devizes Carnival procession.

Mother-of-two Leanne Middleton who has worked for Ann Summers for two years organising parties, has rounded up 18 other party organisers and friends and a mystery plumber who will be dressed as Superman, for the float.

Mrs Middleton, 28, said: "All the girls will be wearing fun Ann Summers costumes including Miss Massage which is a pink mini dress with a zip up the front, a nurses outfit, Army maid, a nun and a policewoman. We will be covered up but will have hot pants on and some of us will have feather boas."

She said the float would have no sex toys on display. "There will be fur and drapes. We will have smoke machines and lighting and we will be dancing. It will all be very tasteful, and nothing rude about it. It's kid friendly and fun."

A spokeswoman for Ann Summers said it is believed this was the first float of its kind to be entered into any carnival.

Mrs Middleton said: "I thought having a float in the procession would be fun."A 44ft long lorry will be used.
