Expect raucous night with Jo

ONE of the country's most raucous comedians will be calling in on Swindon as part of her British tour.

Jo Brand's stand-up comedy is said to contain more swearing and sexual references than the entire work of Tarantino and Cronenberg put together.

Her first job was at Dr Barnardo's and she later worked for several years as a psychiatric nurse.

She has said that the daily parade of drug addicts and the chronically depressed gave her material for her later career as a comedian.

Tickets for the show at the Wyvern Theatre cost £15.
