A SPOT of squad rotation is on the cards at the County Ground with Andy King likely to shuffle his pack for the Carling Cup visit of Wycombe Wanderers tomorrow night.
The Town boss looks unlikely to stick with the side which earned a first clean sheet of the campaign on Saturday in the goalless draw at Blackpool.
He said: "I've got to play around with things. I'm hoping Stefani Miglioranzi is fit. Patrick Collins has not been given permission to play by Sheffield Wednesday as they don't want him cup-tied, while Steve Jenkins needs a game.
"I want to see the other two strikers as well. Only a couple of managers have the luxury of having a squad good enough so that making changes doesn't deplete their side.
"But in Tony Thorpe and Christian Roberts, perhaps playing on Tuesday night, I think that's a combination capable of going in there.
"Sean O'Hanlon's had a bug for weeks and felt awful, while Gareth Whalley came off feeling sick. We'll look at things on Monday."
Town's bench at Bloomfield Road featured Tom Heaton, Jenkins, Ricky Shakes, Roberts and Thorpe.
That to the manager is an indication that his squad is looking in healthier shape.
The down side is keeping players happy, but King admits it is a positive 'problem' to have.
He said: "The good thing is that the bench looks better but it creates its own problems.
"Jamie Cureton's not happy at coming off, Tony Thorpe doesn't want to be there (on the bench), Jenkins is an international and wants to play. But they're nice problems.
'I've said to them that those who've got the shirt, the only way you're going to lose it is if you don't perform."
As for skipper O'Hanlon, it has been some time since he felt 100 per cent and a further trip to the doctors this week will try and uncover the cause of his 'bug'.
