Vets surgery hit by raider

STAFF at a Swindon vets were victims of a burglary. An intruder walked into the Arrow Veterinary Surgery in Ermin Street, Stratton, using the staff entrance at the back of the premises, and made off with two handbags.

The bags contained mobile telephones, bank cards and cash.

The incident happened at around 12.25pm on Friday.

Police say a man was seen acting suspiciously nearby before the burglary happened.

He is described as white, in his 20s, with blond hair and wearing a blue hooded top.
