Kids go back to school to have holiday fun

Anthony Bayliss plays pool. Refs: 78831-13YOUNGSTERS have been enjoying the summer holiday by going back to school.

It may seem an odd thing to do, but instead spending long hours in a classroom, dozens of children from across the town have been enjoying endless hours of sporting activities from cricket to cycling and from playing pool to painting.

It's all part of the Technokidz arts and craft week, which has been held at Ferndale Junior School over the last week.

The group is better known as a breakfast and after-school club, and aims to provide a support service to parents, children and the local community by encouraging youngsters to do more indoor and outdoor activities such as sports, crafts and social skills within a safe, secure and fun environment.

The Technokidz holiday clubs will be continuing throughout the summer holidays.
