New boss set to boost the profits

A SWINDON firm specialising in document security has announced a new chief operations officer.

TSSI, based in Groundwell, North Swindon, has appointed Stewart Hefferman as the chief operations officer.

Formerly the systems director, his role will be to drive growth.

Mr Hefferman's appointment follows £3.5m investment from ACUS Management Partners, as reported in the Advertiser earlier this week.

Mr Hefferman said: "TSSI has world-beating technology with core strengths in high growth markets.

"Refocusing the business on our expertise in areas such as local and national government and document security will create international opportunities and provide a foundation to drive profit. My role is to deliver it."

The company also specialises in document verification, fingerprint biometrics and identification systems.
