Top recruitment consultant gets Mini reward

A RECRUITMENT firm has awarded one of its Swindon staff with a new car.

Select Appointments has awarded a new Mini to Laura Hayward, one of its consultants.

It is part of the firm's Mini Gems campaign which was launched in January 2004 at the company's annual conference to reward and recognise staff.

The Mini is rewarded to those team members who achieve defined targets within a three-year period and Go The Extra Mile Gem to find work for recruits.

Since January 2004, Laura has recruited 556 people into local jobs in Swindon, making her Select's highest performing recruitment consultant in the country.

Rebecca Harker, the officer manager at Select Appointments in Swindon said; "Laura really deserves to win the first Mini.

"She is very proud to be contributing to the growth of Swindon as a town and is passionate about recruiting for local positions.

"Laura always goes the extra mile to find jobs for her candidates and to fill her clients' vacancies.

"She is an example to us all, showing what can be achieved with consistent commitment to her customers and a real can-do attitude."
