Come and tell us your stories

YOUR Swindon Advertiser is heading off on tour today.

We are visiting the towns and villages around Swindon to meet our readers in their communities.

The Advertiser is read each day by about 63,500 people, many of whom live outside Swindon itself.

This is your chance to meet our reporters, ask questions and pick up some free goodies.

If you have a story to tell us or want to let us know what you would like to see in the paper, come along.

Our resident reptile, Alfie the Alligator, will also be there to welcome you.

Advertiser editor Mark Waldron, pictured above, said: "We are committed to providing the very best news coverage that we can of the towns and villages around Swindon.

"The Advertiser is at the heart of your communities, and we want to make sure that your communities are at the heart of the Adver."

Anyone buying a copy of the Swindon Advertiser at our stand will also be able to pick up a free treat.

Rachael Youd, retail sales manager, said: "It's a great opportunity for us to get out and about and meet our readers in their local community.

"Alfie and the rest of team have been really looking forward to going on tour this summer."

Our team will be calling at Cricklade, Shrivenham, Highworth, Wootton Bassett and Wroughton between 11am and 2pm this week so look out for Alfie.
