Harry is Formula One Champion at Platinum Renault

Harry, 12, from Rode, had a taste of the success enjoyed by Renault F1 Team driver Fernando Alonso, when he emerged as the champ from an Evening of Motorsport at the dealership on Meridian Motor Park, North Bradley.

Platinum's Trowbridge showroom hosted a giant six-player Grand Prix simulator complete with racing seats, steering wheels, nose cones, and 42-inch plasma TV screens to give local customers the chance to feel their adrenalin pumping while taking on the curves and straights of Grand Prix circuits around the world.

The event celebrated the success of Renault F1 Team, which currently leads the Formula One Constructors, Championship with seven race victories, and Team driver Fernando Alonso's lead in the Drivers' Championship. It was also a chance for driving enthusiasts to have a closer look at the acclaimed Renaultsport road cars available from Platinum Renault.

Harry won a Renault F1 Team model, while mum Keren received the winner's Mumm champagne as sprayed in real life by Grand Prix podium finishers.
