Happy birthday and well done

LEAD member for education in Swindon, Garry Perkins, has congratulated the Swindon Children's University on celebrating its sixth anniversary.

The university is run by Swindon Council at New College and this year's session ended on Friday. Courses available to the children including fencing, French and First Aid.

Mr Perkins said: "The Children's University gives so many young people in Swindon a chance to enjoy an innovative and varied programme of activities in the summer break."
