Good run continues

Wiltshire U14: Wiltshire continued their excellent run of form with an emphatic nine-wicket win against Gwent on Monday.

Electing to bat first on a dry Devizes pitch Gwent were restricted to 148 all out by Marcus Brown (3-24) and spinners Robert Pittman (2-16) and Andrew Lawton (1-32). Courtney Earl gaining some success late on removing the tail with (2-17).

This below par total was never enough to threaten Wiltshire's strong batting line up as firstly James Vince (70) and Robert Pittman (37no) saw the home side through to their target in just 20 overs. Fellow opener Martin Sawyer playing an excellent supporting role with a patient unbeaten 31.
