Honda in at number two

HONDA has taken second place among carmakers in the Financial Times Global League Table of company's share values.

The Japanese firm, which has a factory in South Marston, was judged to have a market value of $46,611.7 million on March 31 this year, behind Toyota. The firm was followed in the table was followed by Nissan, Daimler/Chrysler and then BMW, which owns the Swindon Pressings based in Stratton St Margaret.
