It's Ray's year

BOFFIN Ray Whitford has been named one of the foremost aerospace journalists in the world at a ceremony in Paris.

Grandfather Ray, who works in the department of Aerospace, Power and Sensors at the Royal Military College of Science in Shrivenham, received the accolade at the Aerospace Journalist of the Year awards.

The awards are organised by the World Leadership Forum and the Royal Aeronautical Society, and were presented at the Paris Air Show.
