A TEA-AT-THREE event to raise money and awareness for the Dorothy House Hospice was held at a number of venues across west Wiltshire on Friday.
At Winsley Primary School West Wilts MP Dr Andrew Murrison joined staff and children for afternoon tea to help promote the cause.
Dr Murrison said: "I'm delighted to support Dorothy House and to enjoy a refreshing cuppa at the same time. The hospice does a smashing job in helping people to navigate a difficult phase of life."
The school raised £90 and teachers thanked those who donated homemade cakes.
Residents and volunteers of Dorothy House hosted a fete, featuring a bring and buy sale, raffle draw and a popular 'Guess the name of the teddy' stall, in addition to selling numerous cups of tea, making more than £400 for the trust.
Organisers hope the event will help build the profile of the hospice on a national level.
