THE PEOPLE OF WILTSHIRE AWARDS 2005

This is your chance to tell us who you think should be honoured by the county. If you know someone who deserves a People of Wiltshire award, fill in the nomination form now.

Wiltshire is a special county, and we believe it's the people of Wiltshire that make it special. This year we are holding the forth annual People of Wiltshire Awards to celebrate our unsung local heroes.

The awards recognise the achievements of young people, outstanding examples of caring in the community, good neighbourliness, along with work being undertaken to enhance and preserve the environment. There is also an award for the employee of the year.

The People of Wiltshire Awards, now in its fourth year, was devised by the county council to honour the individuals, local organisations and businesses that have made outstanding contributions to community life in the county.

The closing date is 5pm on July 15, 2005.

Everyone who is nominated is awarded a certificate and the outstanding achievers are invited to a gala dinner to receive their £500 Prize.
