Detectives tight-lipped about investigation

TELEPHONE boxes were cordoned off by police yesterday while an alleged incident was being investigated by officer.

Police say they are not able to release the details of the incident for operational reasons.

The three telephone boxes in Bridge Street, near to Yates's Wine Lodge were surrounded by police tape

It is not known whether the incident under investigation happened on Sunday night or in the early hours of Monday morning.
