I'm ashamed

I'M writing in response to the comment "worse than a prison'' made by a fashion guru.

When I read it I applauded the comment, he echoed my thoughts exactly. Swindon Council has no idea of people's needs and just think greed.

They pile house upon house leaving hardly any green space to play on or roam and the town is becoming a soulless maze of concrete.

My family are born and bred Swindonians and the town today is a far cry from the cosy, friendly place surrounded by countryside, that it used to be.

The back garden of Penhill is also having itself scalped and degraded in the same way.

I personally am ashamed of how Swindon Council rampage on, bricking up the town and even consider building on our well loved country park.
