Judging time is nearing an end as Wootton Bassett eagerly awaits the naming of the town's brightest new business brain.
A competition to unearth wannabe Richard Bransons, organised by the town's Chamber of Commerce, will announce its winner on Tuesday at a presentation evening at the Wiltshire Golf and Country Club.
Contestants had to generate the best idea for a new business within the town, complete with business plan, running costs and key personnel required to make their dream a reality.
The winning entrepreneur will be awarded £1,000 to start up their business as well as being entered into a regional version of the competition with a further £1,000 up for grabs.
President of Wootton Bassett Chamber of Commerce Brian Taylor said: "We've had some good entries this year and, although it won't be easy, we're looking forward to selecting a winner."
Last year the competition was won by John and Carol Francis, of CJS Services, with their lightweight speaker design for bands. They now provide a 240 watt cabinet weighing 22 kilograms, compared with the competition's 40 kilograms.
