Happy birthday to fashion firm

FASHION firm Matalan is celebrating its 20th anniversary this month.

The company, which has a store at the Greenbridge Retail Park, will be celebrating the milestone with series of discounts, competitions and in-store events.

Currently the company employs 14,000 people across the UK in 190 stores.

The company also says it is the country's top volume retailer of jeans.

Kevin Rowland, store manager at Matalan said: "We are delighted to be celebrating such a significant trading milestone and want to thank our local customers, for their continued loyalty.

"We look forward to welcoming customers to the store to take part in our fun birthday celebrations."
