Double joy for the twins' club

Twins Samuel, left, and Joshua Cornforth Picture Ref: 77774-29ABOUT 30 pairs of twins turned up at the Outlet Village to celebrate the re-launch of the Swindon Twins or More club.

Health professionals and pregnant women joined the twins and their parents at the ToyBox Junction crche yesterday. Face painting and craft activities were held for the children while parents talked about their experiences of bringing up twins.

The club, also known as Storm, is chaired by Joe Watts. She said: "The club aims to provide help, friendship and support for families with multiples. We cater for the families between bumps and pre-school.

"We provide different activities and crafts for the children and also take them on picnics and outings."

But the club doesn't just organise events for the children. There are also nights out for mums at a member's house where tips can be swapped and clothing can be bought.

The club meets most Mondays. Joe said: "We like to get together for group activities, such as a sing-song and the parents can have a cup of tea while the children play."
