Local firm is in liquidation

WOOTTON Bassett engineering firm Crane Construction has gone into voluntary liquidation.

The company, which was set up in January 1997 by directors Tony McKenna and Mark Lympany, was based at Apsley House in Wootton Bassett and has been responsible for the construction of a number of buildings for industrial use in the Swindon, Fairford and Reading areas.

At a meeting of the company at the Shrivenham Hundred Business Park two weeks ago it was announced the firm could not continue trading because of its liabilities.

Liquidators have now begun to wind up the company.
