Spitfires suffer cup final misery

GIRL'S FOOTBALL: Swindon Spitfires were beaten 3-1 by Keynsham Town in the Under 14 cup final. Two early goals from Keynsham knocked Spitfires' confidence and it would have been more but for the outstanding goalkeeping of Grace Purnell.

Kat Mabbott justified her place in the starting line up with a player-of-the-match performance.

Keynsham fired their third at the start of the second half before Emma Skinner grabbed a consolation.
