Musical boost

WILTSHIRE'S library users are now able to pick up DVDs of top chart performers in concert.

The ever-increasing range of DVDs is available to order at all of Wiltshire's libraries including Wootton Bassett, Calne and Chippenham.

There are DVDs of classic pop performers in concert ranging from Atomic Kitten to ZZ Top to The Doors, Shania Twain, pictured, and the 1985 Live Aid concert.

David Green, Wiltshire's library stock manager, said: "We receive a great deal of requests for this type of DVD in our libraries and have decided to get a selection in and see whether the idea takes off.

"Libraries now have much more to offer than just books. You can now hire DVDs, computer games, CDs and videos and access the internet at most libraries in Wiltshire."
