Up for auction

WITH the main political parties moving tactically into the middle ground the current General Election is losing the traditional ideological base and becoming nothing more than an auction.

Lot 2005 an old country estate.

Auctions are peculiar things where old, damaged and used goods are bought at an enhanced price based upon delusionary values.

Surely we should not subject our society to such an indignity?

Rather we should be requiring that an improved national and international identity is of primary importance.

Which party is interested in doing that at the moment?
