Family's court blow

A GRIEVING couple suffered a fresh blow on Monday when the man whose dangerous driving caused their son's death had his case adjourned again.

The family of 26-year-old Robert Griffin had hoped to see Zachary Colliss sentenced for causing the fatal crash on the A36 Warminster bypass last April.

But his case was adjourned until May 12 after Swindon Court heard 32-year-old Colliss had missed his appointment for a probation report.

Colliss, of Brown Hill Road, Romsey, Hampshire, originally denied causing death by dangerous driving at a hearing in January, but later admitted the charge.

Mr Griffin died after a two-car collision on the A36 between Cley Hill and the Granada service station on April 22 last year.

Adjourning the case, Judge Tom Longbotham revoked Colliss' bail and ordered him to be remanded in custody.
