Sorry, you don't serve this area

RUBBISH: WE received along with the morning post at our Watchfield address a flier on waste management in Wiltshire and Swindon.

We, no doubt along with a number of other addresses in the area, received the pamphlet presumably because we are at the disadvantage of having an SN postal code and someone failed to take note of the fact that in this area we are a protectorate of the Vale of the White Horse district council in Oxfordshire, which already provides a perfectly good waste management system.

This is hardly a good advertisement for waste management.

Of course, it is possible that someone was looking at the proposed Swindon eastern expansion plans in the direction of the Vale and became confused.

Newbury and Reading watch out!
