Driver caught speeding on A36

MOTORIST Bryan Woodcock received a 21-day driving ban after his Subaru Impreza was clocked at over 90mph on the A36.

Woodcock, 33, of Virginia Drive, Warminster, was stopped by police on the Warminster bypass at 2pm on September 24 last year.

Over a quarter of a mile, on the 60mph stretch, his average speed was 94.81mph. He admitted speeding at Chippenham Magistrates' Court on Monday.

Woodcock was fined £180 and ordered to pay £35 costs.
