A SWINDON couple renewed their wedding vows live on national television in front of millions of viewers.
As reported in yesterday's late edition of the Adver, Melvyn and Jenny Price had a "perfect Valentine's Day" after winning the GMTV competition.
The pair were whisked to Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire for a renewal of their wedding vows 18 years after they tied the knot.
Fifty couples were chosen and for Melvyn, 57, and Jenny, 54, it was a dream come true.
Mrs Price said: "It was just perfect. It was really a magical day."
After the ceremony, hosted by presenters Kate Garraway and Richard Arnold, the couple returned home to Swindon.
Mrs Price said. "We had a wonderful wedding and the renewal was perfect.
The couple met as teenagers but after 18 months of dating they drifted apart.
However following a chance meeting they finally got hitched at Bath Road Methodist Church in 1986.
The pair live in Woodland View, Wroughton, with their son James, 16.
