NatWest's Natasha is pleased to greet you

Natasha HunkinSWINDON has become one of the first areas in the country to appoint a "greeter" at a bank.

NatWest in Commercial Road has appointed Natasha Hunkin as a service co-ordinator.

Natasha's job is to welcome and direct customers as they enter the branch to ensure they get to see the right person as quickly as possible.

She will also be in radio contact with her colleagues in other parts of the office. Her introduction marks the start of a programme that will see 300 service co-ordinators introduced to some of the busiest NatWest branches across the country.

Graham Biggs, the assistant branch manager said: "We recognise that people have busy lives and the ranges of products and services offered by our branches can be a bit daunting. The service co-ordinator's role is to identify every customer's needs as soon as they walk through the door so we can deal with their enquiry as professionally and efficiently as possible."

Natasha said: "It's great to be in a position to offer such a personal service to people visiting the branch and I'm thrilled to be starting my new role. The reaction from customers has already been fantastic."
