Physio is needed to get patients moving

AN URGENT appeal has been made for a physiotherapist to help Multiple Sclerosis sufferers.

The Swindon Therapy Centre for Multiple Sclerosis on the Cheney Manor industrial estate wants to hear from a specialist who can help for two to three hours a week.

Centre manager Jackie Wray said, since a physiotherapist left last November, she had noticed a deterioration in sufferers' health.

"We need to a physio to help to keep them mobile," she said.

"Since the last one left some members have relapsed and are back in wheelchairs."
