Youth shelter all set to open

SWINDON Mayor Peter Stoddart is to open a new play area, youth shelter and garden at the Broad Green Centre.

The new facilities will widen the appeal of the centre, which is used by community groups.

The project was funded by the New Opportunities Fund through the Fair Share: Transforming Your Space England scheme. Discussions between Swindon Council and the community took place about the project which will be opened on Monday February 14 at 11.15pm.
