Not snappy

REGARDING the stories about the traffic warden and the mayor's car (EA Jan 28 & 29).

From what you say, the warden didn't issue a ticket after being advised of the situation surely this indicates suitable respect for the occasion rather than "an insult''.

Or did you decide that the headline "Warden doesn't issue parking ticket to mayor because he was at official ceremony" is less snappy?
