A MENINGITIS Trust would like to take this opportunity to thank people in the South West for helping FOCUS stores raise more than £87,000 towards the fight against meningitis.

FOCUS stores throughout the region held family fun days last year, which were a huge success thanks to a wealth of original fundraising ideas from FOCUS staff.

The money raised will go towards fighting the disease by funding research into life-saving vaccines, raising awareness of the symptoms and giving support to the thousands of families affected every year.
