Bristol-bound

PUPILS from Green-meadow Primary and Sheldon School, Chippen-ham, will don the red of Swindon Town after winning the community office's annual six-a-side finals at the County Ground.

Greenmeadow triumphed in the boys' years five and six event with a 1-0 win over Lainesmead, and a 2-0 victory over Chippenham-based St Mary's after the three had won their respective heats totalling 44 teams.

Sheldon sealed the girls' years seven and eight event with a golden goal success against Dorcan.

Both schools will now represent Swindon Town in the regional finals at Bristol in March.
