Sounds sweet for HMV

HEALTHY album sales by the Scissor Sisters and U2 helped HMV, which has a store in Swindon's Regent Street to see like-for-like sales up 4.3 per cent in the five weeks up to January 8.

But despite also seeing a strong share in the DVD market chief executive Alan Giles said the company remain cautious.
