Pirates hold onto top spot

Dunbar Pirates held on to top spot in the Intermach Conference with a 6-2 win against Goatacre.

A hat-trick from Darren Davidse, plus further goals from Trevor Doyle, Derek Harris and an own goal sealed the win.

Mainlink are hot on their heels in second place after an 8-2 win against bottom club BSB United.

A Mike Gregory hat-trick and goals from Joe Fox, John Litton, Gary Street, Jamie Souch and Neil Murphy saw off BSB in difficult conditions.

In the Intermach Cup, holders Mainlink were knocked out by BP. Goals from Stuart Carter, Taz Adams and John Cave-Ayland (2) put BP into the semi-finals.
