SWINDON Spitfires Under 10s failed to start the New Year with a win, losing 1-0 against Keynsham.
Despite enjoying long spells of possession, Spitfires just couldn't find the net.
After losing an early goal, Spitfires had much of the early possession, but couldn't find the clinical touch to finish off the chances they created.
As always, Chloe Craig worked tirelessly in midfield and helped out in defence.
Later in the game, Spitfires had a lot of pressure put on them but Nicole Dhillon and Jade Wakeling defended resolutely.
Spitfires' goalkeeper Kayleigh De Bank made a string of fine saves to keep Spitfires in the game.
Good runs by Nia Richards nearly brought an equalising goal, but no matter how hard the Spitfires tried they could not beat the Keynsham goalkeeper.
