Nature set to be celebrated

A SWINDON nature reserve is to be the setting for an Orchard Day Celebration.

The Friends of Stanton Park, who help to care for plants and wildlife at the reserve, want to introduce the park to people who have never been there before.

The event, on January 30 at noon, will introduce the orchard, honeybee and bird box projects and will include a nature trail, art workshop and forest refreshments.

People who go along are advised to wear stout footwear.
