D-Day finale for the show

MILITARY bands and representatives of the Royal British Legion from across the region will commemorate the 60th anniversary of D-Day to mark the finale of this year's Royal Bath and West Show.

The show's final day, June 5, falls on the eve of the 60th anniversary of D-Day and organisers of the show at the Bath and West Showground at Shepton Mallet have arranged for a parade to bring the show to a close.

The show runs from June 2-5 and includes a military tattoo. For ticket details contact (01749) 822200.
