Vitamin petition

VITAMIN and mineral supplements are under threat from European legislation and west Wiltshire MP Andrew Murrison is calling on the county's residents to take action.

Dr Murrison is urging his constituents to sign an online petition against the European Food Supplements Directive, which will ban the use of certain supplements.

The Conservative MP said: "It is too late to reverse that decision, but it is not too late to change the way that the laws will be enforced and the small print."
