Pupils go to pub for painting prizes

DA5319CHILDREN from Dinton School went along to the village's Wyndham Arms pub on Thursday last week, to receive prizes in a St George's Day painting competition, organised by licensee Duncan Bendermacher.

The competition was divided into three sections for pupils of the school's Robin, Puffin and Kingfisher classes, with the winner in each group receiving a £10 WH Smith voucher and the runner up a £5 voucher.

The winner in Robin class was Natalia Fedyszyn, with Hannah Kidner second. Puffin class winner was Daniel Clark, with Ben Tarrant second, and Kingfisher winner, was Lidia Fedyszyn, with Daisy Davies runner-up.
